UPDATES ON PIANOARTS WINNERS

David Yoshiaki Ko, 2010 PianoArts first place winner, will give a Debut Recital at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center on March 13, 2011 and perform on the Artists Series of Sarasota on April 17 and 19, 2011.

Michelle Naughton, 2006 PianoArts first place winner, and her twin sister, Christina, have been invited to perform on the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra's Classical Concert Series in March 2011. In 2010, they graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music where they studied with Robert McDonald.

Jacob Ertl
, 2002 PianoArts second place winner, will return to Milwaukee in March, 2010 to perform Student-to-Student programs, Youth and Family Concerts in Milwaukee, Appleton and Oshkosh, Wisconsin. These programs are also in partnership with Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, Lawrence University in Appleton, and University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh. He is working toward a Doctorate of Musical Arts at the Eastman School of Music where he is a teaching assistant of Nelita True.

John Boonenberg
, 2000 PianoArts first place winner, completed his master's degree at The Juilliard School and is working on two doctorates at the University of Michigan. He is the only student ever accepted for a double docturate degree –– one is in piano performance and the other is in collaborative piano.

Elizabeth Joy Roe, 1999 PianoArts first place winner, and her piano partner, Greg Anderson, are in great demand as the Anderson and Roe Piano Duo. Elizabeth has completed her fellowship with the Academy, the acclaimed partnership of The Juilliard School, the Weill Music Institute of Carnegie Hall and New York City Schools.
